Saints of God, come to Ricky’s aid!

Come to meet Ricky, angels of the Lord!

Receive Ricky’s soul and present Ricky to God the Most High.

May Christ, Who called you, take you to Himself;

may angels lead you to Abraham's side.

Receive Ricky’s soul and present Ricky to God the Most High.

Give Ricky eternal rest, O Lord,

and may Your light shine upon Ricky forever.

Receive Ricky’s soul and present Ricky to God the Most High.

Let us pray: We commend Ricky to you, Lord.

Now that Ricky has passed from this life,

may Ricky live on in Your presence.

In Your mercy and love, forgive whatever sins Ricky

may have committed through human weakness.

Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Ricky whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant Ricky light, happiness, and peace. Let Ricky pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard Ricky from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise Ricky up with all Your saints. Pardon Ricky sins and give Ricky eternal life in Your kingdom. Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, You willingly gave Yourself up to death so that all people might be saved and pass from death into a new life. By dying You opened the gates of life for those who believe in You; do not let Ricky be parted from You, but by Your glorious power give Ricky light, joy, and peace in heaven where You live for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty Eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness, be kind to the soul of Your servant, Ricky. Cleanse Ricky whom You have called from this world of all Ricky’s faults, take Ricky into the Realm of Light and Peace and into the Community of Your Saints, and give Ricky share of Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom. God, You Creator and Saviour of all the faithful, forgive all the sins of all Your servants' souls. Let them receive forgiveness through our pious prayer, for which they have always been yearning. For this we pray through Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.

O Lord, You always love to distribute Mercy and Graces. For this reason, I never cease asking of You to think of the souls of Your servants whom You have taken from this world. Do not leave them under the power of the enemy and do not ever forget them. Order Your Holy Angels to take and lead them to their heavenly home. They hoped for You, they believed in You. So do not let them endure the punishments of Purgatory, but let them have the Eternal Joys. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

God of faithfulness, in Your wisdom You have called Your servant Ricky out of this world; release Ricky from the bonds of sin, and welcome Ricky into Your Presence, so that Ricky may enjoy eternal light and peace and be raised up in glory with all Your saints. Amen.

Lord our God, the death of Ricky recalls our human condition and the brevity of our lives on earth. But for those who believe in Your love, death is not the end, nor does it destroy the bonds that You forge in our lives. We share the faith of Your Son's disciples and the hope of the children of God. Bring the light of Christ's resurrection to this time of testing and pain as we pray for Ricky and for those who love Ricky, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Most faithful God, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Your servant Ricky suffered greatly, but placed Ricky trust in Your mercy. Confident that the petition of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, we beg You, give rest to Ricky. Do not remember Ricky’s sins, but look upon Ricky’s sufferings and grant Ricky’refreshment, light, and peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We beg You, Lord, in Your kindness to have pity on the soul of Your servant Ricky. Grant Ricky now freed of this life's dangers, a place of lasting safety. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

You are, O God, quick to pardon and desire man's salvation. In Your goodness we ask You to grant our brother Ricky everlasting happiness. With the help of Blessed Mary ever Virgin and all Your saints, we ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for the Forgotten Dead

O merciful God, take pity on those souls who have no particular friends and intercessors to recommend them to You, who either through negligence of those who are alive or through length of time, are forgotten by all. Spare them, O Lord, and remember Your own when others forget to appeal to Your mercy. Let not the souls You have created be parted from You, their Creator. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto Ricky, O Lord.Let perpetual light shine upon him. May Ricky's soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
